Airgym Club is a calisthenics gym in Madrid for beginners and experienced athletes, with small group classes by level and online calisthenics classes. After trying three other gym management platforms, co-founders Oriol and Xian switched to Trainin in 2025 for reliable payments, excellent customer support and one place to manage bookings, memberships and members. Here's how they run their gym with Trainin, and why they're not planning to switch again.
How we run Airgym Club with Trainin

Airgym Club is a calisthenics gym in Madrid, in Ciudad Lineal, just around the corner from Quintana metro station. Xian and I opened it in October 2024, after years of training in parks. We train mostly with our own bodyweight: bars, rings, parallel bars and floor work.
Our members
Most of our members are over 30, and many had never done bodyweight training before. That's why we split our classes by level and keep the groups small. Most people start with our beginner calisthenics classes. Don't live in Madrid? You can follow the same method in our online calisthenics classes.
Three platforms before Trainin
Before Trainin, we tried three other platforms. With every one of them, we ran into the same two problems: customer support and payments.
For a small gym, those are exactly the two things that have to work. Payments are the core of your business. And when something goes wrong, you need someone who picks up and helps you fix it. If either one fails, you end up spending time on your software instead of on your classes and your members.
Making the switch
We moved to Trainin in September 2025. Switching software while your gym is open is always a bit nerve-racking. You have members, memberships and bookings running, and the last thing you want is to disrupt the day-to-day.
A Trainin account manager guided us through every step. They were really involved, and that made the switch a lot easier.
Day to day
Our members now book all their classes in the Trainin app. For us, Trainin is our control centre. We check bookings, memberships and payments there, see the consent forms every member signs when they sign up, and manage our online clients too.
The biggest win: everything is in one place, so there's a lot less admin. We also find the transaction fees very competitive. And the customer support is excellent, which is exactly what we missed with our previous platforms.
Trainin covers everything our gym needs, without adding complexity we don't need.
We're very happy with Trainin, and we're not planning to switch.
